Winchester Falls to Red Devils

RICHMOND, Ind. –
The Winchester boys basketball team fell 54-46 at Richmond on Saturday night at the Tiernan Center.

Payton Sparks led Winchester with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Isaiah Jordan-Miller tossed in nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Trey Graft had eight points, while Lukas Mills finished with seven as Boo Enis had six.

The Golden Falcons led 14-8 after the first quarter, but the were behind 26-22 at halftime.

Winchester battled back to trail 36-35 at the end of the third. The game was tied twice in the final period at 38-38 and 43-43 before the Red Devils were able to come away with the win.

Christian Harvey led the Red Devils with 32 points, six steals and four rebounds.

Richmond won the JV game 44-28. Levi Slusher led Winchester with nine points and Nathaniel Dunica added eight.

The Golden Falcons (5-10, 3-2) travel to Centerville (7-9, 1-3) on Wednesday for a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
