WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester boys tennis team defeated Union County 5-0 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest on Monday.
In singles action, Aaron Wallace defeated Leighton Schulte 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1. Trey Graft got past Joey Weller 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2. In the third position, Mason Melton beat Jacob Stansberry 6-1, 7-6.
Michael Georgi and Drake Moody took care of Austin Bowling and Owen Miller 6-3, 6-2 in the top doubles spot. At No. 2, Thadd Legear and Justin McAllister won 6-0, 6-2 over Alex Fuller and Tyler Soper.
Winchester is at Union City on Tuesday, while Union County entertains Centerville on Thursday.
