Union City Softball Beats Liberty Christian

UC-Logo-Indians-(web)UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City softball team picked up a decisive 17-3 victory Liberty Christian in five innings on Tuesday.

Madeline Adams, Hannah Lambdin and Kayla Hill each hit a home run in the contest.

Kelsey Zimmers had three hits to go with six stolen bases.

Adams added a triple for her second hit of the affair. Kali Miller contributed two hits, while Lambdin, Dowler, Hill and Amber Curry all added hits.

Miller struck out two and walked none to take the win after four innings. Peyton Dean struck out 2 in the final inning for the save from the mound.

The Indians return to action on Thursday at Centerville.
