GASTON, Ind. – Tri’s three game winning streak came to an end on Friday as the Titans fell 12-7 in a battle of unbeaten football teams at Wes-Del.
David O’Neill ran for 149 yards on 23 carries to lead Tri’s offense. He scored the only touchdown for the Titans in the third period.
Austin Stroud and Kyler Burchett led the Titans on defense with seven tackles each.
The Titans (3-1) visit Northeastern (3-1) next Friday.
Tri is 3-0 and on top of the Tri-Eastern Conference standings, while the Knights are 2-0.
