CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Hagerstown volleyball team defeated Lincoln 25-20, 27-25, 25-19 on Thursday night in a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Brytni Dale led the Class 2A No. 4 Tigers with 11 kills and 20 digs, while Regan Tinkle finished with eight kills and Jessica Swimm added seven kills.
Hannah Rogers had 10 digs and 19 assists with Beth Jenkins contributing 12 digs and 18 assists.
Victoria Pierson led Hagerstown with 24 digs and Lacee Dale had 17 digs.
Kylei Klein had a dozen kills and a pair of blocks for the Golden Eagles, who are ranked seventh in the latest 2A poll.
Laynie Russell added five kills. Rachel Merida had 26 assists and 16 digs. Lauren Weston had 21 digs. Cheyenne Hedrick added 20 digs.
Hagerstown (17-1, 2-0) is at Union City on Monday, while Lincoln (15-6, 2-1) entertains Knightstown next Thursday.
