HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The pairings for the Wayne County Basketball Tournament were announced on Wednesday.
The event at Hagerstown opens on Thursday, Jan. 5, with the host Tigers meeting Lincoln in a girls contest at 6 p.m. The Centerville and Northeastern boys play in the second game that night.
On Friday, Jan. 6, Centerville and Northeastern square off in a girls game at 6 p.m. Hagerstown and Lincoln finish the evening with a boys match-up.
The championship games are on Saturday, Jan. 7. The girls game gets underway at 6 p.m., which is followed by the boys title affair.
Admission prices are $6 per night at the door. Season passes (three night pass) are available for $12 at any of the participating schools from now until the first night of the tourney, but they will not be sold at the door.
