LIBERTY, Ind. – The Union County boys basketball team picked up a non-conference win on Saturday as the Patriots beat North Decatur 63-60 in overtime.
It was the 200th win at Union County for head coach Mark Detweiler. Overall, Detweiler is 228-189 in 19 seasons.
Logan Sanford led the Patriots with 18 points, while Mason Miller finished with 14 points.
Union County led for most of the contest until it was tied 54-54 at the end of regulation.
The Patriots finished the extra session with a 9-6 advantage to post the win.
Next up for the Patriots is a road trip to Centerville on Wednesday for a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
