LIBERTY, Ind. – The Lincoln boys tennis team earned a 5-0 victory over Union County in a Tri-Eastern Conference match on Tuesday.
In singles action, Seth Martin defeated Leighton Schulte 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1. In the second spot, Seth Morris got past Joey Wellen 6-0, 6-0. At No. 3, Austin Lanich beat Jacob Stansberry 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 1 doubles, Nate Gulde and Jeb Reece won 6-1, 6-1 over Austin Bowling and Owen Miller, while Mathew Berry and Mark Cox defeated Tyler Sopen and Alexander Kottka 6-0, 7-5 (7-0) at No. 2.
Union County won the JV match as Alex Fuller defeated Eric Castor 6-2.
Lincoln (11-3, 4-2) visits Union City on Thursday. Union County entertains Randolph Southern on the same night.
