UNION CITY, Ind. – The Winchester boys tennis team defeated Union City 5-0 in a Tri-Eastern Conference match on Tuesday.
In singles action, Aaron Wallace defeated Trevor Spence 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1. In the second spot, Trey Graft beat Zach Bradbury 6-7, 6-2, 6-1. Mason Melton won 6-1, 6-1 over Elijah Thornburg at No. 3.
At No. 1 doubles, Michael Georgi and Drake Moody got past Gabe Loesch and Jacob Bradbury 6-0, 6-2. Thadd Legear and Justin McAllister defeated Chase Jeffers and Jacob Fulk 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2.
The Golden Falcons are at Jay County on Thursday, while Union City is at Northeastern on the same night.
