DUBLIN, Ind. – The Lincoln softball team dropped its first contest of the season on Tuesday as the Golden Eagles fell 16-4 to New Castle.
Jaela Patton had two hits and knocked in two runs, while Laynie Russell also had a pair of hits.
Rachel Moschell doubled and Emmie Pugh also had a hit to drive in a run.
Lincoln (3-1) is at Richmond on Thursday.
