Bulldogs Post TEC Victory at Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Centerville boys basketball team posted a 60-52 Tri-Eastern Conference victory over Winchester on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs started the evening with a 14-5 lead after one quarter and then they were on top 28-16 by the intermission.

The Golden Falcons got to within 40-34 by the end of the third before the Bulldogs maintained their advantage in the final period as they hit 9-of-11 shots.

Matt Stamper led the Bulldogs with 18 points, while Michael Brewer tossed in 15. Kody Witham finished with 10 points.

Justin DuPree added eight points as Alex Brandon contributed six points, six rebounds and three blocks.

For Winchester, Austin Lawrence had 10 points and six rebounds. Lukas Mills also had 10 points.

Boo Enis had nine points and Isaiah Jordan-Miller had eight points and seven rebounds. Trey Graft finished with eight points.

Winchester (9-8, 3-2) entertains Monroe Central on Thursday.

Centerville (7-8, 1-3) visits Connersville on Saturday.
