RUSHVILLE, Ind. – The Centerville volleyball team finished second in the Rushville Invitational on Saturday as the Bulldogs posted a pair of victories.
The Bulldogs defeated Oldenburg 25-12, 25-18 and the host Lions 25-16, 25-7 before falling in the finale to Indianapolis Tindley 26-24, 25-14.
Ally Staton led Centerville with 41 assists, 12 digs and six aces. Morgan Toschlog added 23 digs and seven aces.
Kelsee Troutwine topped the Bulldogs with 15 kills, while Addie Walther added 10 kills and 16 digs.
Centerville (8-5) returns to action at home on Tuesday as the Bulldogs entertain Franklin County.
