All-TEC Girls Basketball Team Announced

Maddie Lawrence of Winchester was named the Tri-Eastern Conference Player of the Year for girls basketball on Thursday as the all-league squad was announced.

The Class 2A state runner-up and TEC champion Golden Falcons had Shelby Miller and Kira Robinson join Lawrence on the All-TEC Team. Lawrence also earned the Player of the Year honor a year ago.

Second-place Hagerstown had two players on the team with Kassidy Oliger and Hallie Rogers representing the Tigers.

Class 1A sectional champion Tri High had Payton Moore and Lauren Bouslog on the list.

Union County’s Madison Gray and Taylor Pinkerton also made the team.

The other All-TEC selections were Jenna McFarland (Northeastern), Allie Owens (Lincoln), Justiss Cantue (Union City), Carlie Doolin (Centerville) and Jessica Butler (Knightstown)
