LIBERTY, Ind. – Emma Adams had four hits and knocked in four runs as the Union County softball team defeated Preble Shawnee 12-4 on Monday.
Adams also hit her third home run of the season, while it marked the fourth time she has driven in four runs in a contest this spring.
Madison Walters, Becca Stafford and Kristin Klein all had two hits, while Tanner Henry, Rachel Sparks and Madison Rosenberger had one hit each.
Danielle Franklin worked four innings on the mound for the Patriots to earn the victory.
Union County (14-5) visits Tri on Tuesday for a Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
