Centerville in Richmond Invitational at Elks County Club
RICHMOND, Ind. – A pair of Wayne County girls golf teams opened the fall at the Richmond Invitational at the Elks County Club on Monday, July 31.
The host Red Devils were second out of seven squads, while Centerville was third.
Batesville won the team title with a 322 as Richmond was next at 354. Centerville carded a 362 as the Bulldogs were followed by Union County 389, East Central 409, Rushville 414 and Connersville 467.
Individually, Rowan Pies of East Central was the medalist with a 71. Others in the top five were Josie Meyer (Batesville) 74, Alex Goodwin (Centerville) 77, Isabella Roll (Richmond) 80 and Addyson Weiler (Batesville) 80.
