Union City Falls to Rebels

MT. SUMMIT, Ind. –
Union City’s boys basketball season came to an end on Tuesday as the Indians fell 50-49 to Randolph Southern in the opener of the Class 1A sectional at Blue River.

The game was tied 15-15 after the first period and the Indians were on top 32-29 at halftime.

The Rebels held a 46-44 advantage after three quarters as they were able to hang on through the final stanza for the victory.

Trevor Spence led the Indians with 12 points.

Zerrin Cantu tossed in 11 points.

Trevor Thompson and Bryten Stewart both contributed six points apiece.

Union City finishes the season at 5-19.
