LEWISVILLE, Ind. – The Tri High girls basketball team won its eight straight game on Thursday as the Class 1A No. 9 Titans beat Eastern Hancock 42-38.
Payton Moore led the Titans with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Lauren Bouslog added eight points and handed out five assists.
Averi Phelps finished with six points, while Maddie Burchett had four steals.
The game was tied 10-10 at the end of the first period before the Titans took the lead 24-15 by halftime.
Tri led 34-25 after three quarters.
The Titans (18-4) face Blue River (14-8) in the opener of the Union City Sectional on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
