Tigers Score Early in TEC Win


HAGERSTOWN, Ind. –
Hagerstown scored six times in the first inning on Friday night as the Tigers went on to defeat Knightstown 9-5 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.

Brady McMillan got the win on the mound for the Tigers as he went six innings, Noah Dale worked the final frame.

Cody Swimm had a hit and drove in two runs, while Owen Golliher had two hits and knocked in a run.

Trent Weiss and Cameron Purtha each had a hit and RBI.

Mason Hicks had two hits including a double.

For the Panthers, Tyler Burton had three hits with a pair of homers with four RBI.

Jarrod Porter had three hits and Owen Wiles added a hit and RBI.

On Saturday, the Tigers (11-2, 5-1) are at Jay County and Knightstown (6-8, 2-2) entertains Union County.
