The IHSAA announced the pairings on Sunday night for the upcoming girls softball state tournament scheduled to begin the week of May 21.
The Tri-Eastern Conference teams will be competing at three different sites.
In Class 2A Sectional 41 at Union County, the Patriots will entertain Centerville, Hagerstown, Northeastern and Winchester.
Knightstown is in the other Class 2A Sectional (42) at Triton Central featuring the host Tigers, Eastern Hancock, Heritage Christian, Indianapolis Howe and Irvington Prep.
Last year’s Class 1A state runner-up Tri High welcomes Lincoln, Union City, Blue River, Randolph Southern and Seton Catholic.
The dates and times will be announced by each host school.
