Panthers Win in 10th at Centerville

CENTERVILLE, Ind. –
Knightstown’s Owen Wiles hit a solo homer in the top of the 10th inning on Thursday as the Panthers outlasted Centerville 9-8 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.

Wiles led the Panthers with four hits, while Jarred Porter added three hits with two RBI.

Jose Olivo, Tyler Burton, Kaunner Cleek and Levi Black all had two hits.

Bruce Nichols drove in three runs.

Ben Brown picked up the win on the mound with Cleek earning a save.

For the Bulldogs, Dalton Stevens topped the squad with four hits.

Brennen Kean had two hits to knock in three runs.

Oran VanSkyock had two hits including a homer with two RBI.

Nolan Witte had a hit and two RBI.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday.

The Panthers (9-10, 3-3) entertain Lapel, while Centerville (7-8, 2-5) plays Lincoln in the Wayne County Tournament at Hagerstown.
