Luster Leads Indians to Victory

MILTON, Ind. –
The Union City baseball team won its ninth straight game on Tuesday as the Indians defeated Lincoln 6-0 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.

Cam Luster tossed a one-hitter for the Indians with seven strikeouts.

The game was scoreless until the fifth inning when the Indians picked up a pair of runs. They added another in the sixth and three more in the seventh.

Zach Bradbury led the way for Union City with three hits and two stolen bases.

Luster and Nic Wells each had two hits for Union City, while Trevor Spence, Jacob Fulk, Kyler Purdin and Jacob Moore all had one hit.

Devin Mustin had Lincoln’s hit.

The Indians (11-2, 4-1) entertains TEC foe Northeastern on Thursday.

Lincoln (2-16, 0-6) faces Centerville in the Wayne County Tournament on Saturday at Hagerstown.
