KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – Northeastern’s Colton Alexander tossed a complete game shutout at Knightstown on Tuesday as the Knights beat the Panthers 3-0.
Alexander struck out 10 in the Tri-Eastern Conference contest against the No. 10 Panthers.
The Knights were led offensively by Tyler Jaykoski, who had two hits with a RBI.
Connor Bray also had a run-scoring single.
Cade Bray and Spencer Benner each had singles, while Nate Fletcher doubled.
Kaleb Buchanan and Levi Black both singled for the only hits for the Panthers.
Northeastern (1-5, 1-1) visits Centerville on Thursday.
The Panthers (4-1, 1-1) are at New Castle on Thursday.
