EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Northeastern’s Heather Crull had her wrestling season come to an end in the opening round of the IHSAA State Finals on Friday, Feb. 16.

Mason Goelz of Avon defeated Crull 7-1 in the 106-pound class at the Ford Center.

Crull finished her junior year at 51-2. She was the champion at the IHSGW State Finals in the 105-pound division in Kokomo on Jan. 12, 2024.

This was her second appearance in the state finals as she competed as a ninth grader in 2022.
