WINCHESTER, Ind. – The Winchester girls basketball team remained unbeaten in the Tri-Eastern Conference on Saturday as the Golden Falcons won 56-37 over Lincoln.
The Golden Falcons got off to a fast start as they led 22-9 after the opening quarter. They were able to keep their distance the rest of the way.
Maddie Lawrence led Winchester with 17, while Liz Pegg tossed in 13.
Kira Robinson finished with 10 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
Kylei Klein led Lincoln with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Winchester (10-2, 3-0) travels to Class A No. 8 Union City (8-1, 3-0) for a critical TEC showdown on Tuesday. Lincoln (7-2, 2-1) entertains Randolph Southern on Wednesday.
