RUSHVILLE, Ind. – The Lincoln volleyball team defeated Rushville 25-12, 25-15, 25-14 on Wednesday.
Kylei Klein led the Golden Eagles with 18 kills, five blocks and five digs. Laynie Russell added six kills and one ace.
Cheyenne Hedrick finished with 11 service points, three aces and six digs. Lauren Weston had five aces and six digs.
Lincoln won the JV contest 25-23, 23-25, 15-12. Sydney Basler had eight kills and five digs. Alyssa Vickers added seven kills, five digs and a pair of aces. Kami Laymon contributed five kills, 14 digs and four aces. Savannah Dungan finished with four kills.
Lincoln (19-6) is at the Wayne County Tournament in Hagerstown on Saturday as the Golden Eagles face Northeastern in their opener.
