Bulldogs Rally for Big Win

CENTERVILLE, Ind. –
Brennen Kean hit for the cycle on Wednesday as the Centerville baseball team defeated Blue River 15-5 in six innings.

After grounding out in the first, Kean singled in the third, homered in the fourth, tripled in the fifth and doubled in the sixth as he drove in five runs.

Nolan Witte also homered and singled to knock in three runs.

Jared Rasner added three hits, while Dante Torres, Dalton Stevens, Chris Pritchett and Oran VanSkyock each had hits.

The Bulldogs fell behind early before scoring three times in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead for good at 6-5.

Centerville scored five runs in the fifth and finished the contest with four more in the sixth.

Cameron Newman worked four innings on the mound and earned the victory, while Tommy Fordonski picked up a save by tossing the final two frames.

The Bulldogs (5-6, 1-3) travel to Lincoln on Friday for a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
