There is a long list of winners of the Richmond City Amateur Golf Tournament.
The history runs deep as the event returns for its 89th year this weekend on Saturday (Aug. 15) and Sunday (Aug. 16).
The opening round is scheduled for Highland Lake Golf Course on Saturday (Aug. 15), while on Sunday (Aug. 16) to action moves to Forest Hills Country Club and Elks Country Club.
For anyone wishing to participate, the deadline to enter is Wednesday (Aug. 12). Club members and Richmond residents can contact any of the three courses to sign up. The cost is $50 plus cart fees.
The Tee Times for the first round will be posted later this week on pressroompass.com.
Matt Herig is the defending champion after carding a 140 to win the title in 2019. He shot a 70 on both days.
