Northeastern Hosts Triangular


FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The boys track and field team took second place in a three way meet with Winchester and Union High Schools.

Top performances for the Knights included Chaz Johnson, who won the 100 in 11.4 and the long jump with a leap of 19’7″.

Wes Mull took the top spot in the 1600 meter run.

Caylor Fisher finished first in the high jump and was the runner-up in the 3200.

David Berger won the discus throw with a toss of 114’6″ and finished second in the shot put with a 39’11”.

Haydn Martin won the 400 and finished third in the 100.

The 1600 relay team of Gabe Beatty, Carter Lumpkin, Gage Lawson and Wes Mull also won with a time of 3:58.

Other top scoring individuals included Shane Berry who finished second in the long jump with a personal best leap of 18’6.5″, Jacob Kehlenbrink finished second in the 300 meter hurdles, Will Cox finished second in the discus, Josh Berger finished third in the shot put and Paul Berger finished third in the 400.

The Knights will travel to Hagerstown on Friday for the Tiger Booster Invitational.
