Golden Eagles Win TEC Contest Over Bulldogs

DUBLIN, Ind. –
The Lincoln girls softball team scored four times in the first inning on Friday as the Golden Eagles went on to defeat Centerville 7-2 in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.

Kaleigh Lamb and Alyssa Messer led the Golden Eagles with two hits apiece.

Messer and Emmie Pugh both knocked in two runs.

Kenzie Lanman led the Bulldogs with two hits including a double.

Lanman and Cassidy Weiss drove in Centerville’s runs.

Hannah Hall tossed a complete game to earn the victory giving up four hits with nine strikeouts.

Grace Delay had five strikeouts for the Bulldogs in four innings, while Shelby Koch went the final two frames with a pair of strikeouts.

Lincoln (9-1, 4-0) entertains Union City on Monday.

The Bulldogs (3-4, 2-1) travels to Shenandoah on Tuesday.
