CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Centerville boys tennis team is on its way to its 24th Tri-Eastern Conference championship after the Bulldogs had two singles players and both doubles squads reach Monday’s finals at Lincoln.
Nolan Witte (No. 1 singles), Skyler Benedict (No. 2 singles) and the team of Blake Shook and Josh Duke (No. 1 doubles) along with Nathan Cheek and Bennett Walther (No. 2 doubles) remain in their respective brackets for the Bulldogs.
The Golden Eagles have three singles players reached the finals. Seth Martin (No.1) faces Witte, Seth Morris (No. 2) meets Benedict and Austin Lanich (No. 3) plays Winchester’s top-seed Mason Melton.
Hagerstown’s doubles teams plays Centerville duos. Evan Hoover and Noah Dale (No. 1) take on Shook and Duke. Caleb Neal and Luke Girdley (No. 2) face Cheek and Walther.
