Lincoln Comes Back to Win

CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. –
The Lincoln boys basketball team posted a come-from-behind 38-25 victory over Daleville on Saturday.

Garrett Pumphrey led the way with 12 points, eight rebounds, 11 blocks and three assists.

Caleb Craig finished with 10 points, while Hayden Pierce tossed in nine.

The Golden Eagles trailed 10-2 after the first quarter and 13-11 by halftime.

Craig scored eight of his points in the third period as Lincoln took the lead for good at 25-15.

Lincoln fell 39-36 in the JV contest as Keaton Southerland had 20 points.

The Golden Eagles (7-9, 1-2) entertain Tri-Eastern Conference leader Union County (13-3, 5-0) on Thursday.
