RICHMOND, Ind. – Lincoln opened its volleyball season on Wednesday night at Seton as the Cardinals won 25-10, 25-18, 22-22, 25-23.
Laynie Russell had 14 kills and 12 digs for the Golden Eagles.
Kami Laymon had 18 digs and an ace. Rachel Merida added six kills and a dozen assists.
The Golden Eagles won the JV contest 23-25, 25-20, 15-4.
Aris VanWinkle had 18 service points, nine aces and nine assists.
Delanie Russell had seven kills and a pair of aces, while Jaela Patton added three kills and four digs.
Lincoln entertains Eastern Hancock on Thursday.
