Fall Sports Begin with Girls Golf

The 2017 fall sports season gets underway on Monday as three Tri-Eastern Conference girls golf teams compete in the Richmond Invitational at the Elks Country Club.

Defending co-champs Centerville and Union County along with Hagerstown will open the season at the event at begins at 9 a.m.

On Tuesday, Northeastern is in the Union County Invitational at the Liberty Country Club at 9 a.m.

Wednesday marks the beginning of the TEC schedule as Northeastern visits Hagerstown for a contest at Hartley Hills at 4:30 p.m.

Friday, Union County entertains Lincoln at Tri at 5 p.m.

Knightstown, which will be a part of the TEC for the first time since 1969, is in the New Castle Invitational on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Winchester is scheduled to visit Knightstown next Monday.

All other fall sports teams will be practicing for the first time on Monday.
