Union County Beats Eastern Hancock

LIBERTY, Ind. – A six-run third inning proved to be the difference on Thursday as the Union County baseball team beat Eastern Hancock 8-2.

Mason Miller led the Patriots with three hits as he knocked in a pair of runs.

Nate Webb, Preston Scott and Blake Fields all had two hits for the Patriots.

Mook Shepler had three RBI and added Cameron Donovan two RBI.

Shepler worked six innings on the mound with six strikeouts as he earned the win.

Union County (18-6) entertains Seton on Saturday.
