LEWISVILLE, Ind. – The Tri softball team swept a doubleheader from Centerville on Saturday as the Titans won 2-1 and 6-3.
In the opener, Tri’s Payton Moore allowed only one run in the game to get the victory in the Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
The Titans scored an unearned run in the fifth before the Bulldogs tied it in the sixth.
In the bottom of the seventh, Laurn Bouslog produced the game-winning run on a bunt.
Breanna Reece got the win for the Titans in the second game, while Destiny Taylor earned a save.
Taylor also had a three-run homer for the Titans.
Tri (16-3, 3-2) is at home against Knightstown on Monday.
Centerville (6-8, 3-1) entertains Union County on Monday.
