Winchester Girls Win

UNION CITY, Ind. – Winchester’s girls track team won a triangular meet on Wednesday.

The Golden Falcons had 67 points, while Randolph Southern was second with 45 and Union City finished with 21.

Maddie Lawrence broke the school record with a throw of 113’1” in the discus. She was also first in the shot put and second in the 1,600 relay.

The top finishers for Winchester were:
Sydney Myers first in the high jump.
Sierrah Love first in the 400 relay, second in the 100 hurdles and fourth in the shot put.
Brooke Covert first in the 3,200, second in the 1,600 and 800, first in the 3,200 relay.
Alexis Castillo first in the 3,200 relay and third in the 800.
Lexi Bradly first in the 3,200, third in the 800 and 400.
Whitney Jester first in the 3,200 relay and fourth in the 400.
Aaliyah Beatty third in the long jump.
Jade Ford-Myers second the 100 and 200, first in the 400 relay.
Emma Hartzel third in the 100 hurdles, second in the 300 hurdles and second in the 1,600 relay.
Lyndsey Herrera first in the long jump and 400 relay.
Mayley Case fourth in the 200 and first in the 400 relay.
