Tigers Lead TEC Teams in Golf Invitational

RICHMOND, Ind. – Hagerstown had the top finish among the Tri-Eastern Conference teams in the Justin Cross/Bo Van Pelt Invitational at the Elks Country Club.

The Tigers finished third with a 328. Carson Orr, Caleb Cochran and Kevin Beeson each had an 81 for the Tigers. Kyle Cochran had an 85 and Luke Girdley a 105.

Centerville and Union County tied for sixth with 365.

Mason Rader had a 75 for the Bulldogs to finish third overall. Skyler Benedict finished with a 93, while Josh Duke had a 98. Aaron Glover and Sam Roberts both had 99.

Owen Miller topped Union County with an 86. Tyler Dunn had 88, Cody Peters 94, Tyler Osborne 97 and Trevor Bowling 100.

Northeastern was eighth with 366 as the Knights were led by Garrett Schuler’s 86. Also scoring for the Knights were Taylor Appledorn 92, Ayden Michaels 94, Bryce Cowen 94 and Jakob Shue 97.

Lincoln was 14th at 430. Scoring for Lincoln was Garron Laymon 105, Braydon Miller 107, Jackson Reed 107, Dustin Catron 111 and Wyatt Payne 138.

Jarrett Focht of Richmond was the medalist as he carded a 69 as he led the Red Devils to the title with a 320. Park Tudor was second with a 325 as Nels Surtani was second in the field with a 71.
