FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The Northeastern softball team won its home opener on Monday with a 10-6 victory over Knightstown.
Sierra Gilmore and Katie Schneider blasted home runs for the Knights.
Schneider led Northeastern with three hits, while Gilmore, Lauren York, Katlyn Williams, Lena Smith, and Carli Williams all had two hits each.
Northeastern (2-1) returns to action on Tuesday as the Knights entertain Delta.
