Knights Grab Share of TEC

FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The Northeastern boys basketball team clinched at least a tie for a fourth straight Tri-Eastern Conference title on Saturday with an 83-43 victory over Tri.

The Knights were led by Tyler Smith with 36 points and Nate Reynolds with 21 points. Smith and Jordan Stolle topped the squad with six rebounds each.

Reynolds point total moved him past Will Claywell into 14th place on the all-time scoring list with 752 points for his career. Smith moved up the career rebounding list with 460, which puts him ninth.

David O’Neill led the Titans with 13 points.

The Titans (6-12, 0-5) visit Seton on Tuesday, while the Knights (17-4, 5-0) are at home on Friday againist TEC foe Winchester.
