NEW PALESTINE, Ind. – The Centerville girls swim team finished third at the New Palestine Sectional on Saturday.
Aubrey Davis was the champion in the 100 Backstroke, which qualified her for the state meet at the IU Natatorium at IUPUI on Friday. She was also sixth in the 200 IM.
Jolie Rusznak finished third in Diving and she advanced to Tuesday’s regional at Brownsburg.
Aubrey Davis, Grace Whiteley, Sophie Neher and Sydney Whiteley finished 3rd in the 200 Medley Relay with a new School Record of 1:57.07. Grace Whiteley, Baylee Fry, Tory Cruse and Sydney Whiteley finished 4th in the 200 Free Relay. Tory Cruse, Baylee Fry, Sophie Neher and Aubrey Davis finished 2nd in the 400 Free Relay.
Sophie Neher finished 16th in the 200 Free and 12th in the 100 Free. Baylee Fry finished 11th in the 200 Free and 12th in the 50 Free. Grace Whiteley finished eighth in the 200 IM and eighth in the 100 Breast. Sydney Whiteley finished fifth in the 50 Free and seventh in the 100 Free. Tory Cruse finished seventh in the 50 Free and eighth in the 100 Free. Maddy Strain finished sixth in Diving. Darien Ridenour finished seventh in Diving. Haley Hites finished 13th in the 100 Fly. Amelia Boicourt finished 10th in the 500 Free.
