LYNN, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball team reached the championship game of the Class 1A sectional at Randolph Southern on Friday with a 70-45 win over Tri.
The No. 8 Indians (20-4) face the host Rebels (15-8) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.. Randolph Southern advanced with a 41-33 win over Blue River.
Baylee Hartman led the Indians with 21 points and 16 rebounds, while Courtney Wise added 19 points.
Kelsey Zimmers finished with nine points. Justiss Cantu had seven points as she handed out 11 assists. Kora Kerns had three steals.
For the Titans (16-7), Payton Moore and Kaley Harrison led the way with 18 points each.
