RUSHVILLE, Ind. – Hagerstown’s boys and Union County’s girls advanced to next Saturday’s cross county semistate at Shelbyville.
The Tigers were fourth to lead the teams from the Tri-Eastern Conference on Saturday during the Rushville Regional, while the Patriots were fifth.
Alec Hicks was seventh to lead the Hagerstown boys in 17:00. The other Hagerstown runners were Logan Tuttle (20), Kaleb Slagle (27), Jevon Osborne (38), Michael Bane (42), Holden Robinson (68) and Dylan Napier (79).
Samantha Crowe was the top TEC performer as she was sixth in the girls event with a time of 20:27 seconds. Also competing for Union County were Samantha Ramey (21), Alyssa West (40), Anevay Antrim (41), Zoe Murphy (69), Emma Cannon (71) and Nora West (79).
Individually moving on from the girls field were Logan McRoberts (17th) of Hagerstown and Kayla Newman (22nd) of Centerville.
On the boys side, Northeastern’s Gabe Beatty finished 14th to advance.
