All of the Tri-Eastern Conference girls tennis teams found out their opponents on Monday for the opening round of the IHSAA sectionals that will get underway later this week.
Four of the teams are competing in the Richmond Sectional, while the others are at Jay County, Connersville and New Castle.
At the Tiernan Center Courts on Wednesday, Lincoln and Hagerstown will square off with Centerville facing Seton.
Thursday’s action has Northeastern playing the winner of Lincoln-Hagerstown. Richmond gets the Centerville-Seton winner.
The championship is set for Friday. All of the matches begin at 4:30 p.m.
At Jay County, Winchester plays Randolph Southern on Thursday, while Union City faces the host Patriots. Both matches are at 5 p.m. The championship is set for Friday at 5 p.m.
Union County is in the Connersville Sectional along with Franklin County and Rushville. The pairings and the dates and times were not announced.
Tri drew host New Castle on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. The sectional also features Shenandoah, Blue River and Knightstown.
