Winchester Opens Tourney with Win

WinchesterUNION CITY, Ind. – The Winchester baseball team opened the Randolph County Tournament on Wednesday at Union City with a 31-2 win over Union.

The Falcons face Randolph Southern on Saturday in the first game at 9 a.m. Monroe Central and the host Indians meet at 11 a.m. The championship game is at 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, Jacob Lahey tossed a complete game for Winchester going five innings and giving up six hits, while striking out 12.

Offensively, Lahey led the Falcons with three hits. Austin Cline and Joe Webb both knocked in four runs.
