Centerville Participates in Jay County Invite

PORTLAND, Ind. –
Centerville’s swimmers competed at the Jay County Invitational over the weekend.

The boys squad was fifth out of 13 teams, while the girls finished seventh of 16.

Top eight finishes for the Centerville boys:
Cameron Newman in diving, third, 299.45.
Parker Neher, Nico Wankerl Parker Jaynes and Wyatt Sewell in the 200 Medley Relay, seventh, 1:57.31.
Parker Jaynes in the 200 Free, second, 2:02.49 and the 500 Free, fourth, 5:41.54.
Parker Neher in the 200 IM, eighth, 2:31.04.
Nico Wankerl in the 50 Free, third, 24.00 and the 100 Breast, fifth, 1:12.19.
Nico Wankerl, Wyatt Sewell, Parker Neher and Parker Jaynes in the 200 Free Relay, third, 1:41.90.

Top eight finishes for the Centerville girls:
Jolie Rusznak in diving, second, 406.25.
Darien Ridenour in diving fourth, 327.40.
Sydney Whiteley in the 50 Free, third, 25.72 and the 100 Free, fifth, 59.05.
Aubrey Davis in the 100 Back, fifth, 1:07.13.
Sydney Whiteley, Aubrey Davis, Lindsay Glover and Baylee Fry in the 400 Free Relay, sixth, 4:09.74.

The next meet for the Bulldogs is Tuesday at home against Milan.
