Northeastern Winning Streak at Three

DALEVILLE, Ind. –
Northeastern won its third straight girls basketball game on Tuesday as the Knights won 65-40 over Daleville.

The Knights nailed four 3-pointers in the opening period as they built a 25-8 advantage.

Daleville closed the gap to 31-21 by halftime before Northeastern led 49-32 by the end of the third quarter.

Jenna McFarland led the Knights with a career-high 27 points

Kasey Andrews tossed in 13 points, while Emma Wright finished with 10 points. Madi Clay added nine points.

In the JV contest, Northeastern won 33-29 as Aunika Railsback led the way with eight points. McKenzie Chasteen tossed in six points and Willow Runyon finished with five points.

Northeastern (5-4) returns to action on Saturday with a varsity only contest against Seton (1-6) at 1:30 p.m.
