Knights Fall in Opener

FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The eighth-ranked Northeastern boys basketball team had three players in double figures on Saturday as the Knights fell 66-57 to Morristown.

Jalen Hillard topped the Knights a career-high 25 points, while handing out three assists.

Freeman Brou finished with 12 points, 17 rebounds and four assists.

Jordan Stolle added 10 points.

Northeastern won the JV contest 40-36 as Caylor Fisher led the way with 13 points.

Wesley Mull had 11, while Kolden Vanlandingham and Quantrell Gammon had eight points apiece.

Gammon finished with six rebounds, five steals and seven assists.

The Knights (0-1) are at Covenant Christian (1-0) on Tuesday.
