Tigers Grab Share of TEC Title

UNION CITY, Ind. –
The Hagerstown football team clinched at least a share of the Tri-Eastern Conference title on Friday as the Tigers defeated Union City 47-20.

The Tigers led 14-6 after the first period and 28-14 at halftime. With 19 points in the third, the Tigers took command as they led 47-14.

Owen Golliher led the Hagerstown offense as he completed 10-of-16 passes for 230 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns.

Mason Hicks ran for 139 yards and a touchdown, while catching four passes for 36 yards. Jalen Oliver pulled down a pair of passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. Cody Swimm finished with three receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Trevor Thompson threw touchdown passes to Kyler Purdin and Mason Good for the Indians. Cameron Vincent added a rushing touchdown.

Defensively for the Tigers, Ryan Golliher led the way with a dozen tackles. Cameron Purtha added 10 stops.

The Tigers (7-1, 6-0) travel to Lincoln (1-7, 1-5) next Friday, while Union City (3-5, 2-4) is at Northeastern (4-4, 3-3).
