CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Lincoln downed Northeastern 25-14, 25-11, 25-17 on Thursday in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest as the teams finished the regular season.
The Golden Eagles are 16-12 overall and 6-2 in the TEC, while the Knights are 8-20, 2-6.
The two squads face each other again in next Thursday’s second match in the Class 2A sectional at Winchester.
Halea Laird had three aces and four kills for the Knights. Kasey Andrews added three kills and seven digs.
Ava Burns finished with two aces and three blocks with Alexis Middleton adding eight assists and 11 digs.
