Bulldogs to Face Seton for Title


KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. –
Centerville and Seton advanced to Saturday’s championship match of the Class A Knightstown Boys Soccer Sectional.

The Bulldogs defeated the host Panthers, while Seton got past Union County 2-1. The title contest is at 2 p.m.

In the opener, Dante Torres scored twice and Michael Brewer added the other goal for the Bulldogs. Alex Tannus, Peyton Sparks and Trenton Uhl all picked up assists.

Centerville goalkeeper Tyler Phenis had a pair of saves.

Knightstown’s Burias Wisner six had saves.

Game Two

Seton’s Noah Heyne had the lone goal in the first half before teammate Adam Deitsch made it 2-0 in the second.

Cam Sanford picked up Union County’s goal in the second period.

Will Brenneke had five saves in goal for the Cardinals.

Matthew Derickson also had five saves for the Patriots.
